Publication dans Aqua & Gas : potentiel énergétique de la gazéification hydrothermale en Suisse

Un article vient de paraître dans Aqua & Gas (SVGW | Fachverband für Wasser, Gas und Wärme), co-signé par TreaTech, qui présente les résultats d’une étude menée par Loïc Leray (STS Conseils) avec le soutien de la Société des Gaziers de la Suisse romande (gazenergie) et du SPEI (Service de la promotion de l’économie et de l’innovation, Vaud).

Cette première évaluation du potentiel de la gazéification hydrothermale en Suisse confirme son rôle clé : jusqu’à 12,5 TWh/an d’énergie renouvelable pourraient être produits à partir de déchets humides. Une solution stratégique et circulaire pour contribuer à la décarbonation, à la sécurité énergétique et à la valorisation locale des déchets.

TreaTech’s cHTG Destroys Recalcitrant PFAS

Recent testing on a model feedstock amended with several types of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) confirmed the following: PFOS, PFOA, and PFBS were destroyed >99.8% each under unoptimized conditions. Complete destruction of these PFAS was confirmed via measurement of speciated PFAS, fluoride, and adsorbable organofluorine. A full fluorine mass balance was achieved.
The cHTG process shows excellent promise at destroying PFAS in PFAS-rich wastes, as well as wastes that incidentally contain PFAS. TreaTech continues to optimize the cHTG process to achieve PFAS destruction in a variety of wastes.

TreaTech technology to convert waste into grid ready renewable energy to be installed at Ecorecyclage site

TreaTech is pleased to announce its first circular waste treatment unit, VISTA, at Ecorecyclage’s treatment site to convert multiple types of industrial, agricultural and municipal waste streams into renewable gas that can immediately be injected into the natural gas distribution network.

The unit will be installed in Q3 2024 at Ecorecyclage’s site in Lavigny and is expected to validate TreaTech’s ability to continuously treat organic waste 24-hours a day at a waste management facility.
